Steve and Terri Sheldon- Owners and CEO

Steve and Terri Sheldon opened up their first Pharmacy together in 1988. Steve and Terri both went to Western Kentucky university for their undergraduate work and then went on to graduate from University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. They are still very active in education as preceptors for the UK college of pharmacy for current pharmacy students. Steve still is very active in local education and has served on local School boards from time to time. He still talks to local college and high school economic classes as well as participating in career days at many educational institutions.

Sheldon's Express Pharmacy is a family owned business. Currently Terri's Mother, Lana, works in Medicare Billing and Jesse, Terri's father, works in public relations. The Sheldon's have 5 children with 3 of them working periodically in the stores. Their names are Ryan, Seth, Spence, Seaton and Terra.

The Sheldon's both laugh when they think about the first few days of their business and how they filled just 1 prescription their first Saturday back in 1988. Those days were filled with hope and anticipation and a lot of praying. They went to several banks in the community only to be turned down. Finally, Bob Fitch, a local Banker took a chance on them and the rest is history. Steve still enjoys a relationship with Bob today by serving on the Bank Board at Independence Bank.

One now can walk into any Sheldon's Express Pharmacy and see what simply can be described as amazing… The Sheldon's operate the largest single Independent drug store in this part of the country. The Fairview branch in Bowling Green fills well over 1000 prescriptions daily, and they utilize state of the art technology and also lead in the industry in this area.

Today Steve and Terri have 3 locations. The two Bowling Green locations is where they spend much of their time. They also have partnered up with Wayne Bandy Pharm D. in Portland, Tn. and Melissa Greathouse Pharm D. at the Campbell Lane Branch in Bowling Green. They will be the first to tell you, they have been blessed beyond their expectations in both communities and much of their success has been due to such great long term employees that also share the love and compassion the Sheldon's have for their patients.

The Sheldon's are firm in their faith and believe that God is responsible for the many blessings they have received. They give him the credit and realize that without God none of this was possible. If you visit their stores you will see the scriptures on the wall that helps remind them and their customers the reason everyone enjoys their experience at Sheldon's Express Pharmacy. They would welcome you to come to the back of the store and see the 15 foot tall painting painted on the stone wall outside. It has become something of a tourist attraction with many, many people coming to see the beautiful painting depicting the life of Jesus Christ.

Wayne Bandy, Manager Pharmacy Express

Wayne Bandy was born and raised in Portland TN. After graduating from Portland H.S. in 1986 he attended Middle Tennessee State University for his prepharmacy requirements and went on to the University of Tennessee at Memphis receiving his doctor of pharmacy degree in 1993. He worked for chain drug stores for 10 years before opening Pharmacy Express. He is glad to live in Portland with his wife Laurie and children, Anna Blair 13, and Dalton 7. It has been a life long dream come true to have a drug store in his home town and serve the people he knows in the town he loves.

Melissa Greathouse PharmD - Manager - Campbell Lane Location

Melissa Greathouse is a 2001 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. Upon graduation, Melissa took a management position for a major retail chain. In 2005, Melissa began working for Sheldon's Express Pharmacy. Melissa is currently manager and co-owner of the new location of Sheldons's Express Pharmacy on Campbell Lane at Buckhead Square. Melissa was born and raised in Warren County. She attends Three Forks Church of Christ. She is married to Joel and they have 2 children, Preston and Isabelle.

Mike Stinnett - Manager - Fairview Location

Mike Stinnett is a graduate from Samford School of Pharmacy, now known as Mcwhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University in Birmingham Alabama. He graduated in 1988 and started his pharmacy career with a major retail chain pharmacy. He opened and closed out stores for them over two states for the next several years. He then started to work for an independent pharmacy located in Portland, TN til 2000. He then took the head pharmacist position at Sheldons Express Pharmacy. He is a member of Living Hope Baptist Church and is married to Michelle, they have 3 beautiful children.

Jarrod Ramsey, Pharm.D., Compounding Specialist

Jarrod Ramsey is a graduate from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. Upon graduation in 2001, he worked for a major retail chain pharmacy for 3 years. In 2003 Jarrod became a certified compounding pharmacist, and has been making cusomized medicatons for patients since that time. A new area of interest is integrative medicine which is a new approach of using natural vitamins and herbal supplements in cunjunction with modern medicine to improve patient health. Jarrod is also currently an active member of Rich Pond Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon. He and his wife, Dana, have been blessed
with three wonderful children, Kassidy, Jonah, and Luke.

Mary Lee Snodgrass - Nutrition and Integrative Therapeutic Specialist

Mary Lee Snodgrass graduated from the University of Kentucky Pharmacy School in 1983. She has been a pharmacist for over 25 years. She comes from a family of pharmacists, in that her father and two sisters are also registered pharmacists. Mary Lee's experience includes retail, hospital, and institutional pharmacy, with a focus on behavorial health. She also has experience in consulting with medicines as they relate to geriatric health. Mary Lee has a special interest in preventive and integrative medicine.

Tori Kelley, PharmD - Clinical Specialist and Retail Assistant Manager

Graduate of Western Ky University - B.S. Biology
Graduate of Creighton University School of Pharmacy- PharmD
12 years in the pharmaceutical industry:
Lederle Labs/American Home Products- responsible for sales and promotion of biologicals,
anti-infectives, antihypertensives and parenterals to physicians, hospitals and pharmacies.
Searle/Pfizer- arthritis consultant promoting products such as Celebrex, Arthrotec, rheumatrex
Married to husband, Rick, with 4 children: Chase, Caitlin, Collin and Carson

Leslie Allen - Operations and Retail Assistant Manager

Leslie Allen is a graduate from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. Upon graduation in 2006, she worked for a teaching hospital for 2 1/2 years. During those years she became BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified. She also attended APhA conference in 2007 and 2008. She became a certified anticoagulation specialist during her time at the hospital. Leslie helped to integrate the medical residency program into the pharmacy program at the hospital. She started working for the Sheldon's family in January of 2008 and full time in July of 2008. Leslie is currently a member at Bowling Green Christian Church.

Rick Matthews - Compounding and Retail Pharmacist Assistant Manager

Rick Matthews is a former student of Western KY University, were he went to study Pre-Pharmacy before going on to graduate from the Pharmacy school at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. He is the proud father of 2 children, Sam and Morgan. He also enjoys fly fishing in his spare time.
